- I recognise this is a picture of forced labour workers. People in Burma are forced by the military government to work for little or no pay, for long hours, neglecting other work or family needs under desperately harsh conditions. Frequently the work involves building roads, carrying back breaking loads, and in Burma you can see even small children in the forced labour gangs. This is just one of the well known abuses of human rights people like you and me would be forced to endure if we were citizens of that country. Please google Forced labour in Burma to find out more.
