Viaduct - Semur-en-AuxoisWell this is the first of the shots I took of this viaduct which spans the Auxios River in Semur-en-Auxois. Taken late last Saturday afternoon on a walkabout whilst the girls caught up with French friends elsewhere in the town. I did a version with the verticals coreected on the right hand side, but it lost its sense of drama and the correction made it look lower than it actually was. The river isn't large and it does flood, but what you cant see well is that it spans a natural gorge, hence its height.
